Description: |
It looks like a fridge. The rear seats fold down flat with the floor, giving it absolutely massive 2000 liters of trunk space. In Japan it was called the "Toyota FunCargo". Overall its quite quirky. Interior dome light charges while attached to the car, remove it and you have a portable torchlight. I fit sleeping on the folded down floor. A bunch of pockets everywhere, loads of interior things that are modular - like chairs, detachable cupholders, trunk cover/table.
Despite all that without eco mods its really fast around corners, has a quick 81kw (108hp) 1NZ-FE motor (performance version out of the T-Sport Yaris and the Vitz RS, even has a cable throttle, not drive by wire). And Weights only 1075kg (2369lb), which is instantly obvious on this rather large car - all panels are razor thin, inside it sounds like the inside of a pepsi can.
Pre-fl. Has roof rack rails, digital dash with fuel consumption indicator, electric adjusting mirrors, power steering, SRS, ABS, no AC, front windows electric, rears manual, manual climate control, disk main brakes in the rear with drum parking brake. |

Current Mods: |
Rusty chassis overall gives some weight reduction no doubt.
On the Highway i drive 70kmh(45mph), in the city i drive like a grandma. Avoid rush hours if possible.
Experimental upper front grille block.
Experimental hot air intake.
175/65R14 Austone Athena SP-801 overinflated to 3 bar (44psi) (Summer).
Rear left wheel drum parking brake was rusted out, so removed everything parking brake related on that wheel except the cable (cable hidden and secured)
Currently experimenting with weight loss, removed passenger and both rear seats, havent weighted them yet.
