Description: Access cab 6 foot bed pickup with 4x4 suspension and tires.

Curb weight is actual by scale with full gas tank and loaded for traveling( rubber mat, tool bag, light, cargo straps, rope, etc stuff).

4x4 suspension, larger tires, higher weight, and different gearing hurts mpg even though epa says same mpg for base and prerunner models.
Build Thread:
Current Mods: Removed one rear seat behind driver seat, removed side step rails. Alloy wheels 9.5 pounds lighter each for 38 pounds lighter unsprung weight. Total 90+- pounds lighter.

Added rubber mat to stop things sliding in the back, tool bag, cargo straps, jumper cables, small air pump, rope, etc things. Added soft bed cover ~ 20 pounds so far about 1 to 2 mpg improvement. Hitch receiver back on 50+ pounds. Total add about 145+ pounds.

Planned Mods: none, truck totaled by hit and run drunk driver.
