Description: This car is my daily driver but I give her lots of TLC in terms of servicing and the lubricating oils I use. I have a mad obsession with finding ways to improve the fuel economy out of my stock 2nd generation LT1.
Build Thread:
Current Mods: 1.) Amsoil 5W-30 OE 100% Synthetic Motor Oil.

2.) Amsoil Torque-DriveŽ Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid.

3.) Amsoil Synthetic 80W-90 Gear Lube.

4.) NGK Iridium Spark Plugs.

Planned Mods: Complete professional restoration-modification:
1.) Improve upon the 2nd generation LT1 to produce more lower end torque using a TPI intake manifold, 180cc Dart Heads, long tube headers that emphasize low end torque and use factory emissions devices, and supporting exhaust system with no power loss.

2.) Improve upon the 2nd generation LT1 to operate with reduced friction using friction reduction parts and special coating.

3.) MAYBE: Custom underbody panel that is removable for servicing. (Increases aerodynamics and minimizes snow and salt exposure to underbody.)
