Description: (mostly) white 1986 Monte Carlo SC (base model)
Bought the car with few options, it has crank windows no rear de-fogger, essentially very base model. It thankfully did come with aluminum front and rear bumpers, I do not believe all g-bodies got these but mine did.
Build Thread:
Current Mods: 350 sbc 5.7l (removed all parts related to the original 305)
aluminum intake
edelbrock emissions headers
new spectre air filter
granny torque converter
low rear end gears (either 2.41 or 3.08)
B&M Megashifter ratchet shifter
aluminum 15x7 front wheels
exhaust cuts off directly after front wheels (headers run to single flowmaster muffler)
removed ac replaced with fiberglass heat only unit
removed smog pump, carbon canister and all associated emissions bits
removed all interior carpeting
removed all interior sound deadening
removed headliner to replace with foam and fabric
removed everything behind the dashboard (hvac venting)
removed windshield washer fluid reservoir
removed passenger door and cut out metal from the inside (maybe a pound or so) put the door skin back on and re-installed the door
